Music Video Idea

Our final music video idea, of which our band members like and approve of, is a live performance video in a empty warehouse or isolated field/open area.

We feel that by using a performance video, the band can be best portrayed, and the isolated location also helps to achieve this.

Along with the band, we have also discussed effect and colour ideas.
Our idea is to have the live performance in the video in black and white, cutting to colour slowmo videos of live gigs which the band have played.

Group Meeting Seven

Tuesday 14th - We had another group meeting today consisting of myslef, Emily and Paige.
We began to research websites which hire out empty warehouses, as this is our main music video idea.
We wrote down contact details for these websites and are hoping to contact them soon.

We also decided that over the holidays we would continue to research location ideas, logo ideas, props and ive performance videos.

Group Meeting Six & Meeting With The Band

Monday 13th - The group met for 45 minutes today and we continued to discuss our main ideas for the music video. Two of the band members also came to the meeting (Steve and Mark), which gave us a chance to meet them and get to know them.

We proposed to them our ideas, of which they approved, and we all set about deciding our next plan of action, when we are going to film, and research we need to do.

As group producer, I emailed the group to tell them about the band coming to see us on Monday. I also suggested it would be a good idea to make sure all our music video plans are down on paper and the designer (Paige) has the new logo ideas to bring on Monday.

I replied to Alan's email, which explained how most of the band members would be meeting us on Monday.

Group Meeting Five

The group met for 15 minutes to discuss and allocate the role of producer for the making of the DVD and extras. As a group, we decided that Paige would be best suited to this role due to her title of also being the designer for the music video. We will be meeting again in a few days to discuss further ideas and research.

Group Meeting Four

Today we met as a group and continued to discuss ideas for the band music video.We also made a to do list and planned our next steps towards making the music video. As a group we decided on filming dates and tasks we would all undertake over the coming week. These are as follows;

I emailed Alan to inform him of what we have planned so far. I informed him of our filming deadline and possible filming dates and also asked about possibly meeting up with the band to discuss further ideas.
